Travelling in morphing geographic media.

“Geomedia” is an audio-visual performance that transformed the wall into a geographic section, turning the space into a dynamic journey of geo-morphosis. Audiences are transported through different landscapes and geological formations, encounter a range of geological features, from deep sea, to soaring mountains, to jagged canyons.

The sound samples of geological movements were mixed with traditional elements of electronic music as fundamental sound materials, to interact with the visual morphosis of the geographic interface, forming a multidimensional geographic spatial experience. We designed a generative performance system to control the flow, fusion, and dissolve of geological textures in real-time.
